Kara Krause is an accomplished event industry organizer with over a decade of experience specializing in strategic planning and integrated marketing solutions. 

She has successfully managed numerous tradeshows, global summits, conferences, and large-scale events throughout Asia, Europe, and North America, gaining invaluable experience in the tradeshow and conference development field. 

Kara has consulted and led teams serving clients in a myriad of industries from technology to food and beverage, transportation, diversity and inclusion, and more. She specializes in executing innovative marketing campaigns that acquire, engage and retain attendees, attract new exhibitors and sponsors, and boost profitability for industry events in the public, private, and non-profit sectors.

Kara has worked with a variety of notable organizations including the James Beard Foundation, Consumer Technology Association, Federal Communications Commission, Biotechnology Innovation Organization, Global Initiative for Inclusive ICTs (G3ict) to name a few. 

Kara is also a presenter of industry seminars on strategic marketing and event planning. Her opinion editorials have been featured in Forbes. 

Throughout her international travels Kara has amassed a formidable range of contacts within the tradeshow, conference and business worlds. She holds a BSBA from Georgetown University.  She is a member of the Society of Independent Organizers (SISO), The International Association of Exhibition and Events (IAEE), The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the Forbes Communication Council. She has been named to Washington Life’s Under 40 List. 

Kara is based in Washington, DC. She serves on the Board of Florida House on Capitol Hill, the Advisory Council for the Best Friends Foundation, a Founding Member of Catholic Charities Enzler Society, and is active in supporting charities benefitting children, culture and food.
